We fix a time for you to visit. I pick you up by car at Edinburgh airport or train station. We view the properties together, in one day. A key aspect of my service is advising you as to the rental potential of particular properties. I work solely for you as a buyer, with no conflict of interest. I can arrange introductions to solicitors, surveyors, property refurbishment companies, interior designers, architects, removal companies and so on, all of them reliable professionals whom I have known for a number of years, but I take no commission from these sources.
Some aspects of property purchase in Scotland are quite different from those that apply south of the border. I can guide you through these so that you have a clear idea of the way our system works, and liaise with solicitors, estate agents, surveyors etc. on your behalf. As your on-the-spot representative, I can quickly respond to any issues arising at the survey / offer / acceptance stages of a purchase. On the day you take possession of your new property I am on hand to meet you and help you with any last-minute snags that arise.
